Join us for the MOOXLI Fall 2024 retreat and go from being swept along by your life to living in the present  where you have a clear path forward and you are confident about the choices you will make to get there.

Before we ask you to commit, let’s make sure you understand who this retreat is for:

You are a smart and successful individual! Ask anyone and they’ll say how decisive and wise you are. Yet, you say yes to so many things when you need to say no to support your beautiful  heart. You’ve reached the milestone of getting your degree and are now having this,”Now what?” moment. You aren’t sure how it is all going to play out and you want to be in the driver’s seat from now on.  Let’s step into the power of choice together and learn how to say no , all while trusting what is best for us in daily life.

Sarah Plummer Taylor

A U.S. Marine veteran who deployed twice to Iraq, Sarah is the author of Just Roll With It: 7 Battle Tested Truths for Building a Resilient Life. As a Marine, she also captained and played for the US Military Olympic Women’s Soccer Team from 2007-2011. She is also the founder of SEMPER Sarah®, an international wellness practice.

Sarah is an expert in understanding and living the power of choice to foster a resilient and value driven life. She faced one of the biggest choices of her life when deployed in Iraq, when she had to choose between her pistol or her yoga mat.

​

Sarah holds a Master’s in Social Work with a Mental Health concentration from the University of Denver and is a 500hr-ERYT registered yoga instructor.

​

Her work has been featured on Capitol Hill and in noteworthy news and entertainment outlets like the Katie Couric Show, NPR, NBC Nightly News with Brian Williams, MSNBC, Huffington Post, and others. Sarah’s advocacy has been featured in publications such as the New York Times and by Pulitzer Prize Winning author, David Wood, in his book What Have We Done.

As a speaker, instructor, and consultant, she guides leaders and top organizations in North America and Europe, including FORTUNE500 companies like Coca Cola and DaVita, esteemed universities, and the US Department of Defense.

Sarah is a returning MOOXLI facilitator and we are thrilled to be spending the week together again!

Sara Bergakker

“Clinically qualified, but not emotionally equipped,” describes MOOXLI founder Sarah Bergakker, experience starting as an LPN in the emergency department at the age of 19. This theme continued as Sarah completed her bachelor’s in nursing and began work as an ER Trauma nurse, and then became a nurse anesthetist. After almost 20 years in healthcare, Sarah realized that she didn’t know what she was going to do differently but that her practices of perfectionism, numbing, and detaching from her emotional and physical self needed to change. ​Sarah started this work to discover if there was a way for her to continue to work in healthcare and find joy in her work. She is so thankful to have returned to the original passion of her calling in healthcare. ​Sarah will be sharing how self compassion and boundaries can effectively change our habits, change our lives, and ultimately support our own resilience.

Joan Mudget

 Joan Mudget will guide you through daily movement, breathwork and meditation that supports the mind and body in making the shifts that will happen for you on this retreat.  Joan’s background in executive leadership, and her personal experience with burnout and addiction recovery, allow her to guide you through deeper introspection.  Joan will help you understand how yoga changed her life and guide you in incorporating these simple practices into your daily routine.

The Setting:

Oh, we’ve really done it this time, darlings. Grab your favorite beanie and fall boots and get ready for some front porch sitting, hearthside gathering around fieldstone fireplaces, and a once-in-a-lifetime experience at this secluded resort destination. Welcome to Migis Lodge. We are taking your wild hearts to 135 acres of pristine woods stretching along 3,500 feet of Sebago Lake shoreline, Casco, Maine. Migis lodge is a unique Maine vacation experience that has welcomed guests in summer and fall for over 100 years.

​

There's no better way to get out and explore the coves and islands of Sebago Lake than on one of their numerous canoes, kayaks, and rowing dories. Covering over 45 square miles and featuring over 100 miles of coastline, there's always a new place to explore!

​

Everyone will have their own bedroom and private bathroom and three nourishing meals each day including the famous Migis Lodge formal dinners!

​

All inclusive lodging rates are $425 per night per person which includes taxes and gratuity! Retreat attendance requires 4 nights of lodging registration.


Upon confirming your retreat registration, you will be sent an email to book and pay for your lodging - lodging is not covered in the registration cost and is booked and paid separately to help with corporate expense reimbursement guidelines by for hospitals.  If you want to room close to your bestie, just let us know at info@mooxli.com
