How Do I Book My lodging for MOOXLI SPRING 2023?
You must be a guest of Xinalani to attend the retreat. You can book your lodging here. Do not book your lodging for the retreat (May 6th through May 11th) through xinalani.com. The rooms for this retreat will not be available through xinalani.com and you will not get the Mooxli discount. All housing is shared unless you book a private room. No coed housing will be assigned, but housing can be booked coed by attendees.
Retreat registration must be completed prior to housing reservation. Any housing reservation in the absence of retreat registration will be canceled by Mooxli after 48 hours and a $50 administration fee will be deducted from the canceled charge. Lodging cancellations must be in writing to firstname.lastname@example.org and will be accepted up to 90 days before the retreat with a full refund excluding a $50 administration fee. We are unable to offer any refunds for lodging cancellations within the 90-day window prior to, or during the retreat for any reason.
Xinalani mandates that room AND meals are part of the lodging package. So, each person has to book "a bed." For example, if you book a deluxe room with two single beds, each person staying in the deluxe room has to book their bed. So you would book bed #1 and the other person would book bed #2.
How Do I Extend My Stay for MOOXLI SPRING 2023?
If you want to extend your stay and arrive in Puerto Vallarta ahead of the retreat start (May 6th), Xinalani is already completely booked for dates prior to May 6th. There are multiple beautiful places to stay in Puerto Vallarta that you can book on your own. Because this is the weekend of Cinco de Mayo, you need to book early to reserve any lodging in Puerta Vallarta ahead of the retreat.
For those guests arriving in Puerto Vallarta before May 6th, please arrive directly at Terminal Marítima (Puerto Magico) 10 minutes before your boat taxi is scheduled for Xinalani on May 6th. Everyone will receive their scheduled boat taxi departure time 72 hours before the retreat starts.
If you want to extend your stay after the retreat ends, you can check room availability at Xinalani.com. Lodging reservations outside of the retreat dates need to be made through Xinalani.com. Be sure to communicate to them that you are attending the Mooxli retreat.

After landing at Puerto Vallarta International Airport (PVR), take a moment to change into comfortable clothes for your trip to Xinalani. You’ll be traveling by boat, so expect to get wet up to your knees when stepping off the boat and onto our beach. We suggest wearing shorts, sandals, and sunscreen.
Once you clear immigration, collect your luggage and follow the way towards the exit. You will need to run through two rooms of timeshare representatives offering you unwanted help, information, free drinks, transportation, and excursions. Make no mistake, they’re just trying to send you to their own resort.
Once you exit the arrival gate, immediately at your left-hand side, you will see the VIP service booth, Aero Movil is the cab service company that will take you to Puerto Mágico Terminal Marítima. They’ll have your flight information, you can find your details on the screen which is located beside the booth, they’ll know where to take you. The cab ride to the pier should take around 15 minutes.
For those guests arriving in Puerto Vallarta before May 6th, you will have to arrange ground transportation to arrive directly at Terminal Marítima (Puerto Magico) 10 minutes before your boat taxi is scheduled for Xinalani on May 6th. Everyone will receive their scheduled boat taxi departure time 72 hours before the retreat starts.
What should I bring?
In addition to your personal traveling essentials, here are a few recommended additions:
Headlamp or flashlight
An open heart
We will send you a detailed packing list one month before the retreat starts!
Do I need to bring my own yoga mat?
There are mats on the property but there is nothing better than having your own! We recommend the Jade Yoga Travel mat if you purchase one special to fly with. (It folds down to the size of a piece of paper.) Regular yoga mats are easy to carry on as well as they fit in the overhead bin.
Other things I shouldn't bring?
Cell phone coverage is spotty but free wifi is available at the resort
Where can I eat at Xinalani?
Your retreat and lodging registration includes your meals while on property. Xinalai takes great pride in their food and you will be served from a menu that's designed for yogis and people who care about health and fitness. The food is healthy and delicious and includes eggs, fish, seafood, and chicken, but no red meat or pork. They offer vegan and gluten-free options at every meal. All meals are served buffet style.
What is the format of the retreat?
Each day is centered on a theme to guide us through the week. The day starts with light breakfast fare followed by a 60-minute yoga session, then a workshop, midmorning breakfast at 10 am, and then additional workshops until lunch at 2 pm. We have left your afternoons and evenings free of scheduled CE time so that you can explore, take a surf lesson, go paddle boarding, lay by the pool, or head to the spa!
