Building Capacity
Holding More with Grace and Integrity
Earn 20 CEs
You’re carrying so much—because you care so deeply. But capacity isn’t just about grit. It’s about learning how to hold what matters without being crushed by what doesn’t.
Join us for the Fall 2026 MOOXLI Retreat, where you’ll explore how to expand your inner capacity with clarity, grace, and integrity. You’ll return home with practical tools, renewed strength, and 20 continuing education credits to support the life you're building.
Sebago Lake, South Casco, Maine
Monday, October 19st, 2024 through Friday, October 23rd, 2026
Arrive scattered. Leave focused and renewed.
Community Commitment
To help us plan with integrity and intention, this retreat will move forward once we reach a community commitment of at least 20 registered participants by September 28th, 2025. Registration opens June 29th, 2025.
At the time of registration, your card will be charged a $700 retreat deposit. If the community doesn’t meet the commitment threshold, you’ll have the option to receive a full refund or transfer your deposit to another MOOXLI retreat within the same calendar year, as availability allows.
This approach allows us to hold space responsibly—honoring your investment, our team’s capacity, and the energy it takes to create something this meaningful.
Before we ask you to commit, let’s make sure you understand who this retreat is for:
You’re wise, capable, and deeply committed—to your work, your people, your responsibilities. From the outside, it looks like you’re holding it all. But inside, something’s fraying. You’re tired of the constant stretch, the quiet depletion, the sense that tending to yourself always comes last.
This retreat is for the one who wants to hold more—but differently.
More of what brings meaning. More of what feels true.
Less of what weighs you down.
It’s time to expand—not by adding more to your plate, but by deepening your capacity to live with grace, integrity, and self-honoring boundaries.
01
You’re tired of pushing through and want to learn how to replenish without guilt.
02
You crave space to reconnect with what matters most—beyond the noise, the demands, and the constant doing.
03
You want to feel steady on the inside, not just look put-together on the outside.
04
You’re ready to trade chronic depletion for sustainable, research-backed practices that nourish your nervous system and your spirit.
05
You’re a nurse who wants to understand how inner capacity, not over-functioning, can be your path to resilience.
06
You’re curious about how yoga, breathwork, and mindful movement can become practical tools to support your well-being, both personally and professionally.
You should join us if you're ready to stop running on empty and start living from a place of steadiness, self-trust, and deep nourishment.
This retreat isn’t about fixing yourself—it’s about coming home to the version of you that was never broken.
Let us introduce you to the guides who will walk beside you on this journey.

Sara Bergakker
“Clinically qualified, but not emotionally equipped,” describes MOOXLI founder Sarah Bergakker, experience starting as an LPN in the emergency department at the age of 19. This theme continued as Sarah completed her bachelor’s in nursing and began work as an ER Trauma nurse, and then became a nurse anesthetist. After almost 20 years in healthcare, Sarah realized that she didn’t know what she was going to do differently but that her practices of perfectionism, numbing, and detaching from her emotional and physical self needed to change. Sarah started this work to discover if there was a way for her to continue to work in healthcare and find joy in her work. She is so thankful to have returned to the original passion of her calling in healthcare. Sarah will be sharing how self compassion and boundaries can effectively change our habits, change our lives, and ultimately support our own resilience.

Joan Mudget
Joan Mudget will guide you through daily movement, breathwork and meditation that supports the mind and body in making the shifts that will happen for you on this retreat. Joan’s background in executive leadership, and her personal experience with burnout and addiction recovery, allow her to guide you through deeper introspection. Joan will help you understand how yoga changed her life and guide you in incorporating these simple practices into your daily routine.

Master Capacity Creator
We have an incredible expert on creating capacity ready to commit to joining us once the community committment threshold is met.
We can't wait for you all to meet!
The Setting:
Oh, we’ve really done it again, darlings.
Grab your favorite fall boots and your softest sweater—because we’re heading back to Migis Lodge, the lakeside haven that stole our hearts. Nestled among 135 acres of pine woods and hugging 3,500 feet of Sebago Lake shoreline, this Maine treasure has been welcoming guests for over a century—and it’s ready to welcome you.
Picture this: lakefront porch sitting with warm mugs in hand, hearthside conversations by fieldstone fireplaces, and slow, soul-filling moments surrounded by nature’s quiet brilliance.
Whether you’re paddling across glassy water in a canoe or wandering wooded trails that smell like earth and pine, this is a place to remember who you are beneath the noise.
Each participant will enjoy a cozy private bedroom and bathroom in one of Migis’ charming Maine cabins. And yes—there will be three nourishing meals a day, including their famed classic dinners.
Lodging is $489 per night, all-inclusive of meals, taxes, and gratuity. Four nights are required for this retreat.
We need a community commitment of at least 20 registered participants by September 28th, 2025. Registration opens on June 29th for this retreat to move forward. If we meet that threshold, the retreat is a go—and yes, we may welcome additional participants if space allows.
Waterfront cabins will be assigned on a first-registered, first-served basis, so early registration gives you the best chance to wake up right on the lake.
Your card number on file will be automatically charged for lodging on Day 120, after the retreat is officially confirmed.
This model reflects what MOOXLI is all about—shared intention, mutual trust, and creating something meaningful together.
By the time your refreshed and recharged self boards the plane to fly back home you will have:
Earned 20 CEs!
Practiced showing up in a supportive community where you don’t have to shrink, hustle, or pretend
Reclaimed your energy by learning how to stop pouring yourself out in all the wrong places
Know exactly what you are going to do on the Monday after the retreat, how to handle the Sunday Scaries, and know you aren’t going back to real life, you are going back to YOUR life

What if I want to cancel or choose not to come?Let’s Talk Terms (aka the legal stuff that makes your brave “yes” possible) Darling, from wild coastlines to mountain sanctuaries, these experiences don’t unfold by accident — they require structure, clarity, and trust. So here it is: the fine print that makes the magic possible. Due to the nature of MOOXLI retreats, these policies are firm and non-negotiable. By registering, you’re making a wholehearted commitment to yourself — and to the container we’re holding together. 🪷 Retreat Deposit & Tuition A $700 nonrefundable deposit is charged at the time of registration. The remaining retreat tuition will be charged to your card on file automatically. All retreat tuition payments are nonrefundable once processed. Retreat tuition and deposits are not transferable to another retreat or to another individual. Each MOOXLI retreat moves forward when a shared commitment is made. If we do not reach the minimum number of registrations to hold the container with integrity, your deposit and tuition may be transferred to another retreat within the same calendar year, as space allows. 🛏 Lodging Details & Payments Lodging is billed separately and charged automatically 120 days after registration opens. Lodging assignments are made on a first-registered, first-served basis. Lodging payments are nonrefundable and nontransferable once charged — including transfers to other retreats or to another individual. What Happens If You Cancel We deeply understand the unpredictability of life — but due to the planning and resources involved, MOOXLI does not offer refunds or transfers outside of what is stated above, including for: Illness (including COVID-19) Travel delays or flight cancellations Weather or natural disasters Family emergencies or changes in circumstance Scheduling conflicts or second thoughts Registering for a MOOXLI retreat is a courageous, deliberate act — and we honor it as such. 🧾 Registration Minimum & Contingency Each retreat requires a minimum of 20 participants registered within the first 90 days of launch. If the minimum is not met, the retreat will not move forward and all payments — including deposits — will be refunded in full. 📜 Liability & Agreements By registering, you agree to the full Terms and Conditions and our Liability Waiver. These policies apply to all MOOXLI 2026 retreats and are binding at the time of purchase. ✈️ Travel Insurance Strongly Recommended We highly recommend purchasing travel insurance that includes trip cancellation coverage. Can I get CEs for attending this retreat?Yes! Mooxli is recognized as a provider of CEs by the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists (a nationally recognized certifier of nursing continuing education). The AANA is accredited as a provider of continuing nursing education by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation (ANCC). MOOXLI CEs meet ANCC criteria and are valid and applicable to any and all nursing license holders. The AANP has historically recognized with reciprocity CEs already certified by the AANA. If you provide your AANA# you will automatically be submitted for credits. Not a nurse? No Problem! Just contact your healthcare professional association about how to manually submit for CE approval using the MOOXLI syllabus/program! For instance, do you mean I get to go on retreat AND get CEs?! Yes, yes that's exactly what we mean!

What should I bring? In addition to your personal traveling essentials, here are a few recommended additions: Most importantly, bring an internal commitment to yourself—to breathe deeply, to view the world with an open, curious mind, and to rejuvenate. For movement and meditation classes, we recommend free-flowing, comfortable attire and you can wear this attire during the non-movement based workshops as well! MOOXLI will email you a more comprehensive suggested packing list closer to the retreat.
-
What if I’m new to yoga or meditation? No problem whatsoever. We all have to start somewhere and why not start here, in a safe place, where you can focus on your own needs? Our intention is to make all our sessions as approachable as possible. And if you prefer not to actively participate in yoga, we give you permission to lay on your mat in any position you are comfortable in and simply be present in your own body. Please follow the recommendations of your doctor when evaluating adding yoga to your exercise routine.
-
Are MOOXLI retreats only for women?MOOXLI is a place of sharing, supporting, and nurturing. A place for human service professionals to rest and heal. All who desire to Move their mindset, Oxygenate their soul, and Live differently, are welcome here.
